Attorney-at-law who specialises in legal services related to trading in energy, its carriers and derivative instruments (power, natural gas, oil, emission allowances, coal, biomass, property rights) and in matters related to the impact of EU regulations (MIFID II, EMIR, MAR, REMIT, CDR , etc.) on the structure and operations of energy companies. He has over 10 years’ experience in negotiating standard agreements on commodity markets (EFET, ISDA, IETMA, CPMA, etc.), agreements with operators ( TSO / DSO) and non-standard sales contracts for energy and its carriers. He is also skilled in implementing new solutions adapting energy companies to the said EU regulations. He cooperates with numerous enterprises on regulatory matters (e.g. regulations characteristic of particular industries – energy, food, pharmaceutical, IT, transport and universal services), mostly by providing legal services to energy industry leaders in the area of wholesale trade in energy and its carriers.
Co-author of press articles on the impact of EU regulations (mainly MIFID II, EMIR, MAR and REMIT) on the structure and operations of energy companies. Member of the Warsaw Bar Association (OIRP), the Association of Energy Trading (TOE) where he manages the works of the Working Group on Financial Regulations, and lecturer at the post-graduate faculty of the Warsaw School of Economics.
